What it feel like to be Hypnotised?

It is a very pleasant feeling of relaxation. Your conscious mind may be very alert, but is allowed to daydream freely, or to use the power of your imagination to help visualise various scenarios.

Its more relaxing than this countrysideAs your conscious mind relaxes, the therapist is able to better provide beneficial suggestions directly to your unconscious mind, which over time will filter through to your conscious mind, to bring about the changes you desire.

We have probably all entered a state of hypnotic trance previously, whether it was during a daydream, being engrossed in a TV program, a film or a book, or if we find ourselves losing track of a journey and suddenly realising we have reached our destination. Throughout these periods, our unconscious mind continued to look after us and automatically ensure our needs were managed and that we were kept safe.

Many people worry after a session that they were "not really Hypnotised”. This is usually because they were expecting to experience some weird or eerie sensation or loss of control. The depth of trance required to achieve successful therapy can be very light, but will still provide effective treatment.

Modern Hypnotherapy is a gentle but effective art, which pools skills from various psychotherapy schools.

More and more people are increasingly using these techniques to take control of their lives. Any initial scepticism quickly dissolves as they begin to experience real results.

This popularity is based on a combination of speed and effectiveness: getting results quickly keeps costs under control and allows for the demands of modern life.
