A single session treatment can break the smoking habit now and forever.

Ash TrayA number of different techniques can be employed to suit the individual including traditional habit breaking, aversion, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and others.

It takes about an hour and a half, there are no side effects and you will be completely in control throughout the session.

As Hypnosis works best with well motivated people, we suggest that you consider hard how ready you are to actually give up, what your reasons for giving up are, and what you will do with all the extra time and money!

If you have reservations about giving up, you should discuss this further with us.

During a free 30 minute consultation, careful assessment will identify if Hypnosis can help you, with your particular issues, to stop smoking. During the consultation, it may be decided that Hypnotherapy is not right for you and no treatment will occur.

Common Concerns

Many smokers believe that if they stop, they will put on weight (because their hands need activity), they will get irritable and lose their temper, they will have cravings or that they will be a different person.

There are no physiological reasons for these things to happen.

By including appropriate suggestions as part of the treatment, we can ensure that your unconscious mind completely understands that there are no withdrawal symptoms at all, upon stopping smoking.

The therapist will assess what situations and emotional triggers are important to your smoking habit, so as to allow the therapy to be tailored to meet your exact needs.

Most people are able to successfully quit smoking in a single session.

How does it work?

Clinical Hypnosis works by eliminating the subconscious triggers which keep you smoking. It does this while helping you to feel calm and relaxed in the situations where you used to smoke. It also boosts your will power to ensure that you can stop in the most appropriate way for you.

Cigarette EndsDuring the treatment, the mind and body can relax deeply, yet at the same time you can achieve a very high degree of concentration.

As you allow yourself to enter this pleasant relaxed state, beneficial suggestions may be received directly and effectively by your mind. The existing patterns of thinking about smoking and having an uncontrollable urge to light up and smoke, can be replaced with a new pattern of not thinking about smoking and not wanting to smoke.

It works because it removes your specific triggers, the response to the situations and activities which used to make you reach for a cigarette.

You won’t have to fight the thought, because the thought or desire won’t occur.

Hypnotherapy also reduces your tension, anxieties and negative thoughts about quitting and provides you with a new sense of self-control and calmness.

Is it guaranteed to work ?

Cigarette EndsHypnotherapy does provide the easiest and most successful treatment available and has helped a large number of people to successfully and permanently break their habit.

Nicotine is a difficult substance to go without when giving up smoking, but after a few days the craving is gone.

Quitting smoking is never easy but it is very achievable, however, it is not a miracle cure and does require full commitment from the Client.

Although most people find that the single session is sufficient, we offer a free ‘top-up’ session as a follow-up if required.
